MAS offers 250,000 seats from RM39 nett this weekend
 

SUBANG, Jan 15 — Malaysia Airlines is offering the lowest prices ever for its domestic destinations this weekend, with fares starting from RM39 nett.

The RM39 nett one way fares are for all flights within West Malaysia, and within East Malaysia.

Customers will also pay an all time low fare which starts from RM69 nett for flights from/ to Kuala Lumpur to all destinations in Sabah and Sarawak. This special fare is also available for travel from Johor Bahru to Kuching.

Malaysia Airlines Senior General Manager, Network Revenue & Management, Dr Amin Khan said: “We are offering our best deals ever for domestic travel this weekend, with up to 250,000 seats on sale. These promotional fares are only made possible as we have removed all domestic fuel surcharge effective Wednesday, 14th January 2009.

“These promotional fares will be amongst the many that we will be offering throughout the year to simulate domestic travel.”

He added, “On top of enjoying low fares, customers will continue to enjoy premium services offered including refreshments on board, convenient schedules, on time departures, 20kg baggage allowance, allocated seats and many other benefits.”

Seats are on sale for 2 days only from Saturday, 17th January until 18th January 2009 on Malaysia Airlines’ website, www.malaysiaairlines.com only. The travel period is from 5th February till 31st August 2009.

Tickets for the “Weekend Specials” must be purchased online at least 30 days before departure. The flight dates cannot be changed and tickets are non-refundable. The promotional fares are not available during peak travel periods.
